For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23.

The last two weeks have been a blur. Deadlines, projects, and endless to‑dos have left me driven to distraction. In fact, I managed to misplace my house key, driver’s license, and debit cards, all in one afternoon. Normally I hang my keys by the door, but that day I carried them to the couch, where I promptly fell asleep for two hours. You may be chuckling at my chaos or thinking I need a good doctor. Either way, perhaps you’ve found yourself in similar circumstances this holiday season.
It’s so easy to let preparations, gift wrapping, tree decorating, shopping lists, take over our lives. Yet as we enter Christmas, we’re invited to pause and remember what the celebration is truly about.
That first Christmas was simple. No trees, no dinners, no crowded shops. Just one gift: God’s gift to the world. In sending His Son, He bridged the gulf between heaven and earth, offering mankind a choice, the gift of salvation, a way to the Father through Christ.
This season don’t let schedules, hams, or turkeys steal your focus. Share the gift of Jesus. Make Him the priority, not only at Christmas, but every day of the year.
This week, take a moment to share the story of Jesus with someone, through a word of encouragement, a prayer, or even a simple act of kindness. Let His gift shine through you.
