Finding Freedom from Heart Clutter: A Journey to Forgiveness
As I watched the pigs at work, I noticed the bare soil bathed in sunlight. It made me think of how often we allow our hearts to be overrun with brush and clutter of unforgiveness and lack of repentance.
Standing Firm: Maturity in Faith and Courage in Christ | Ephesians 4:13-14
Paul reminded the Ephesians and us that we must be mature in our faith, to know and believe in Christ Jesus. To have unwavering faith and courage to stand up in Christ and uphold the biblical teaching. Without a strong relationship with Jesus, consistent pray life and Bible reading we are at the mercy of the waves. We are unable to recognize false doctrines and lies of the enemy.
Who Are You Trying to Please?
I know that many of you suffer from “people pleasing” just like me. There is this internal drive that compels me to do whatever I can to make sure everyone is happy. It always proves impossible. Then I feel like a failure and beat myself up for it.
A Leopard Can’t Change Its Spots but Jesus Can
I think that when you have a person like that in your life, you become a hostage in their unforgiveness. Your focus is on whether they forgive you rather than accepting that you are already forgiven by God.
