🌱 The Real Test Isn’t the Waiting — It’s Trusting Jesus

Trusting Jesus in the waiting, the worry, and the unknown.

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in man.” — Psalm 118:8

This week brought our family an unexpected scare. One of my sons‑in‑law had a sudden medical emergency. The ER moved fast, the tests came one after another, and each one promised answers… but none did.

He was admitted. More tests. More waiting. More uncertainty.

After three long days, the cause was found, simple, treatable, and praise God, manageable. Relief came, but not before the waiting had done its work.

When life keeps handing you test after test, the real issue isn’t the test. It’s where we place our trust.

People fail. Systems fail. Even our own bodies fail.

But Jesus doesn’t.

This wasn’t just a medical test. It was a trust test. Every new result tempted us to put our hope in the next answer, the next doctor, the next “maybe this will fix it.”

But the real test wasn’t the illness. It was trust.

Not in men. Not in outcomes. But in Jesus, the One who holds steady when everything else shakes.

Hold tight to Him. Tests will come and go, but His faithfulness never does.
